Provides firm interim leadership and maintains and improves health plans, health systems, and physician groups financial operations during executive searches.
Develops strategies and approaches to achieve effective health plan budgets and financial planning.
Handles capitation and fee-for-service rate development, including carve-out pools, risk pools, and incentives.
Negotiates payer contracts, plan to plan agreements, and provider network agreements.
Develops encounter, utilization, and productivity reporting mechanisms to ensure network adequacy and patient access.

Other Finance Activities

Provides excellent financial expertise, advice, and analysis to health systems and health plans executives and leaders.
Develops highly functioning financial management and analytic teams.
Collaborates and communicates effectively with board officers, executives, managers, line staff, actuaries, auditors, consultants, vendors, and project managers.
